FS760 - Finally! CONGRATULATIONS Robin!
On page 8 of your vast gallery, I found this Santa & knew I wanted to case it & knew what image I wanted to use. Things I changed:
- Santa image
- changed dies
- less coloring
- no tassles
Well, I guess I changed everything but the idea!!
I used French Script for the base layer in Versamark Dazzle. Then I used a gold Sharpie marker to make a faux gold layer. I then die cut the white layer & used the old stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp Santa. I did light coloring with StampinBlends & a gold gel pen for his glasses. Die cut the gold glitter layer & assembled.
I really liked your card & just knew I had to case it.
Enjoy your time as finally, you are our FS, and the cards made in your honor.
Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful gold pieces on this Christmas card! The French script is subtle in the bg, which is perfect so that it doesn't take away from the main image. Love those blue eyes~

One of my very favorite images ever, Bugzi. So glad to see him looking happy inside your beautiful framing and script background. Lovely case and great Christmas card! Hugz

Karen, this is a lovely case of Robin's card. The Santa image is such a perfect fit on the die cut layer and it pops against the gold and red layers. Your touches of color on his face is wonderful.
