Made for a Teapot Tuesday challenge for Tom who is on the mend physically, but mentally needs some uplifting. As someone who has battled mental demons while waiting for my body to heal, I know the struggle. Hopefully a card will help brighten his day just a bit.
Not sure I'm thrilled with the color scheme, but overall happy with the simple layout. I was able to incorporate his home insurance career and his love of the outdoors.

I think it's a fantastic masculine color scheme. Awesome card! Thank you for sending this card to Tom. I know it will help him in knowing that he is not alone in his struggles.

I like the feel of a house set in the woods. It reminds me of one of our childhood walks, which was along a long wooded avenue leading to an old house. Yours looks so warm and welcoming.

I agree with Sabrina...this looks like a very cozy and comforting home. I like the combo of the outdoorsy bg with your house....I'm sure he'll appreciate it.

I was already planning to say how much I love that dp you used for your bg when I read your write up. I think the colors are great and love the woodsy feel behind the house. Neat house and I love your layout. Great card and I am sure Tom will love it too.
