Chris is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she almost stumped me with her colors: Poppy Parade, Bumblebee and Soft Succulent. The dessert option is dry embossing.
I'm so glad I thought of this older set, Garden Collage. The three elements in the design lend themselves perfectly to these colors, so I went with that stamp. Bonus, my new Foliage embossing folder, probably my favorite ever EF, coordinates perfectly with this image! I colored the butterfly and flowers with Copic markers and then added details with colored pencils. For the sentiment, I chose a greeting from my booklet of Small Talk Stickers.
These warm, summery colors are just waiting for you to create something beautiful with them. Have fun!

Beautiful work, Barbara! I love that you added a little brown and you are right. These colors are perfect with that collage image as is that delicate leaves folder.

Oh this is gorgeous and I love that old stamp set. It lends itself to so many color combos. I love how you left so much white and used the red mat for contrast.

Barbara your design is wonderful! Love the way you incorporated the colors this week into your focal point. I agree with you on the embossing folder, it is a keeper for sure and will bring texture to all types of designs! Love it all!
