I was able to combine the CC857 color combo for this week with the DTGD21stampmommaA challenge. It's been great fun to be a part of DTGT for the first time. So much creativity!
Barbara selected this week's colors with a dessert option of stencils. I used the closest colors in my stash to create this card. The base of the main panel is left over CS from when I made my wedding invitations over 25 years ago - not sure how it survived so many moves, but it was perfect as a base layer. Used lighter color to lightly sponge and then used 2nd gen stamping for the BG script. Stenciled over that and then added die cut foliage. Splattered a bit of color across the card for extra dimension. TFL

Your sponged bg is so lovely and how cool that it was from your wedding invites. Love the big silhouette flowers in the merlot. Beautiful layout and CAS card.
