I happened to struggle this week. I think sometimes watercolor is like baking. It knows when you are in a hurry or maybe a little stressed and so it just won't turn out! After two attempts I turned to a stamp and used the stamp for my pattern. Again, nope, the only painted flower that looked pretty was the one flower at the top of the bouquet. I really liked it but it was in such a bad spot I had no idea how I could use it on a card. After a while, inspiration hit and I used the postage stamp die to frame the flower and I added a bit of gold thread.
I am also participating in Jeanette's DTGD Challenge but I can't tell you what it is! If you are not a Fan Club Member you can find all the details HERE!
I have this card blogged HERE along with a super fun ice cream card if you would like to take a look.

So elegant and beautiful Angie. I was only thinking last night that I love to see thread underneath floral images and here there is one today. Doh...I was going to steal that idea lol. Seriously you create such gorgeous cards. TFS. Happy day

Sometime redemption pieces can become their own little masterpieces like this one did. I love the postal stamp look. I love seeing good art on postage stamps so this worked out great!

I feel your struggle, Angie - loose is not my forte either. Unfortunately, I didn't have an appropriate stamp to fall back on. The postage stamp view of this daisy is just perfect !
