Today's Tea Party is in honor of our friend, Dorothy, aka etsdas. It's sad to lose an SCS friend, and we are showing Dorothy's widower how much she was loved by her stamping friends. Snietje is hosting this week and she has given us a list of things Dorothy loved--travel, cruising, reading and cross stitching. I love cross stitching too, which is why I can never resist cross stitch stamp sets. I just recently bought this globe set and thought it was perfect as part of a travel theme as well as cross stitching. I stamped it out and die cut it with the matching die, but then I realized I had an embroidery hoop die (also from Waffle Flower). So I burnished the back of the globe to round it and just make it seem a bit puffy against the white fabric background.
This month's Waffle Flower Challenge is Unexpected Supplies. The first week is focused on stamping with craft foam. I die cut two clouds from craft foam using my Rainbow Panel die and stamped a background. A fun way to stretch supplies!

What a great set of embroidery-themed supplies you have, Jen. I was nearly going to use the cross-stitch die you sent me, but time is crunch just now. What a lovely sentiment to use, too.
