This was done for my own Dare to get Dirty challenge found here. This was also jump started by this pin seen here for this week's Inspiration Challenge. I stamped this cup a few times once on a previously made no wrinkle distress background, and once on one of the other backgrounds similar to what the sentiment panel is stamped on, and then on the scrap piece, I cut out the center where the coffee would be and used that as a mask to trace another oval on that background and used that free hand piece to paper piece back into the design. I used a micron pen that was "close enough" to trace along the seam so it could have a less obvious look to that and then I went over the cup with some watercolors to add a little more depth & shadows on the cup and saucer. the background under this is some cheap Canson watercolor paper that has an interesting line texture, it has some watercolors washed and flicked on it. The frame was cut and then I added more flicks to the frame and spun it before it was taped back to the center panel to add some interest.
The sentiment has a teeny tiny font and it reads
I have one cup of a coffee each morning just to start the day off right. The other ones are to keep me out of jail, help me form sentences & find my razor sharp wit. Thanks for looking.
