For our TeaPotter swap this month (July), our hostess, Dr Sonja has given us a superb challenge! Fantasy Vacation for yourself and a SCS friend. Well, it took me 5 days for an inkling to bloom or ferment, honestly thinking I would have to back out. Considering our community is so rich in fellowship, creativity, and friendship the world over I knew I wanted to tap into the vastness...
Hence planes, trains, and automobiles I bring to the gallery. Modes of transportation as we journey the world over dreaming and believing for meeting up in the 'for real's'!!! Tim H really made it easy for me with the vehicles.
Now this is a big card...but adventuring is! Each section is a card to it's self. The Basic Grey 'Saturday Morning' fluffy clouds paper was used for my Silver Bird flying into the great unknown...who lives over there? Down there? I included a piece of map tape with random cities...I was really thinking Australia, New Zealand, France, Greece...
The train represents slowing down, savoring each moment. Wouldn't it be a blast to have a private train car, full of our fellow TeaPotters? Of course, there would have to be a dining car, plush sleeper units, art car, and don't forget an observation car...
Up next, road tripping...this section includes a scrap of an 'official' Oregon State map with Crater Lake National Park torn and circled for visiting. Tim's old fashion Buick model reminds me of being scared to death of my grandfather's 1956 model just like this.
For those of you, who like to take the slower route (but in luxury), I give you a cruise ship with a bounty of gorgeous waves. We would definitely travel in style here to farther flung locations of our SCS TP friends.
Just for fun...here's a tender moment from ! It'll make you feel good if you remember the movie...
Thank you, Sonja for stretching my imagination. I've been blessed to have met some of our virtual friends...but I am not finished...here's to 2022, BFNM.

How clever to include so many modes of transport. Each has a special advantage and benefit. Love your thoughtful composition of all these elements. Thanks for playing in my Teapotter challenge.

This is brilliant! I love all the different modes of transportation. I think my favorite is the train..I always loved the pace of train travel and seeing all the "normal" everyday scenery of each country. I like how you popped up the elements to give it extra texture. And as far as that movie goes all I can think of the scene about his hand between "the pillows"...LOL!!

I do remember the movie, but faintly, it's been a long time!! I love all the different transports on your card. The train appeals to me the most. I always remember my mother's story of how, when she was living in Canada, half the choir were on a train that got stuck along the way and the other half had arrived in good time. To us as children, the idea of a train journey being long enough to take overnight was so alien. The dimension in your steam trail really brings it to life. (I can always tell when it's getting near Christmas here, as we here Santa's steam train puff past on the weekends. Amazing how you can pick the different sound out instantly!). The sea, land, sky layout is very clever, too.
