I made this for Sabrina's challenge called Man Takes To The Air. My man powered flight machine is the airplane.
Since my image felt quite masculine, I went with that feel. I chose masculine colors, patterns and no embellishments. Originally, I wanted my oval shape to be flat, if you know what I mean. It just didn't make sense after I had my airplane stamped on the oval. I lifted the left side of the oval so that my airplane looks like it is taking off.
Thanks for looking!

What a super fun layout, Toni - I love all those offset flags. It gives the feel of a competition or race - maybe for old vintage planes.
Oh, and I agree on the angle. I stamped mine on acetate and DH and I spent quite a while debating what was the best angle. A little lift looks perfect to me.

Super layout and I love all the banners. That is a great way to use up paper scraps too. I have a bunch of little paper scraps that I need to get on cards so I can clear some room in my scrap drawer. I agree these colors are masculine and they really work so well together too.

This is such a fun design! How smart of you to tip-tilt the oval aperture to accommodate the airplane image, rising in the sky. And those banners - absolutely wonderful!! Fun card!
