Of course, I had to make a scene. Pardon the pun. I meant I made a scene when I decided to make additions to mine. I love a beach so I painted a lot of water and added sand. Had to add a palm tree, also. But, I did stick with two colors as was in the tutorial.

I really like how you created a scene with the abstract painting! I thought of adding a die-cut sailboat but my sailboat die was too big. The sentiment is so true! Fabulous card!

I feel like I must be standing near a lagoon with part of your beach up close & personal and part curving out into the distance around your waters. Beautifully done on your palm tree, too.

Nope, not over done as far as I can see. It really turned out beautifully! The tree is very cool on the sand and the water has so much movement! Love it!
