Stacy gave us a wonderful site with amazing amount of inspiration. I will make more using this site. Today, needed to make a birthday card for my GD who is turning 18. She is an animal lover, with the elephant being one of her favorites. When seeing this balloon knew what to put on her card. Took a digi from the internet, printed it on copy paper and using a light box, traced it onto the watercolor paper. Painted with the wet on wet technique. This is amazing! Beautiful coloring. Even if your GD was not an animal lover, I am sure she would luv this - such a striking portrait. Another fav for me. It would be a lot easier if I could just place your entire gallery in my favorites.

I love this so much, Linda. I can just imagine his trumpeting! I can also imagine it in a storybook. You captured a feeling of elation! I love the landscape as much as the elephant. I hope your GD frames it! Fav'd.
