Here is my card for the sketch challenge - Sonja gave us a double dare - The fun fold challenge is the Bridge Fold Card. This fold works very nicely to create a stand-up card for a little scene. Plus I used this weeks colour challenge colours - Real red, basic black and basic white - and I used mossy meadow as a neutral colour.
I started with the black card stock and folded the Bridge Fold Tutorial here on SCS. I used a large die to create the design at the top. Scored the lines for the folds. Die cut the white and black dotted paper and adherred to the base. Stamped the tree multiple times with mossy meadow and die cut them. Hand cut the curved snow panel for the front section and then ran it through the big shot with the subtle embossing folder. I did this twice. Stamped the snowman and coloured with Real red and black and grey. Fussy cut it out. Added crystal effects to the coal and the eyes. Stamped the sentiment, cut it out and edged it with black. Assembled the scene. I really like how this turned out.
Thanks Sonja for the Double Dare challenge.
Hugs.. Pat

The die cut top is perfect for snowy hills! Makes me shiver. What a fun snowman, too. Thanks for the lovely Double Dare sample.
