The teapotters are sending cards to Tymekia this week to let her know we are thinking of her. Polly is our hostess and has chosen the theme of celebrate summer. I let the paper do the talking and just added a cheerful teacup hello. Sponged edges with DOX's. Cup is stamped in two colors. Tried real red first- too dark, poppy parade -too dark. Finally stamped with glamorous then melon mambo to get a better match.
~ thanks for looking!

Shirl, really like your choice of dsp .... it screams summery goodness! Love the sponging and the embossed border around your pretty teacup! A sweet, uplifting card to encourage Tymekia!

Love the looks of that paper - I recognize all the tropical fruits except for the pink one with the white & black spotted flesh (just googled it - Dragon Fruit) and yep fruit flavored teas -whether hot or cold - are quite tasty and refreshing.

Just like the comments above, I have to say that tropical fruit designer paper is simply awesome! Love how you treated this simply and "let the paper do the talking"!

Great paper. I've never tried dragonfruit, I always suspect that by the time it gets here it's past its best - guavas the same. DH has had those in Africa and still remembers them. I really like your cup, too- when I was about 18 I had a set of red cups with white dots, and a teapot to match.
