We are thinking summer. My first thought was the sea - and in the end I did get time to make a sea card too. But with a full-on weekend and quite a busy start of the week lined up, I made this first using an image that was stamped and sitting on my desk - with a bee inspired by the teapot. Coloured the image with Couleur d'Art pencils, then put the stencil over and dabbed Versamark through. Embossed with silver and sponged with blue. I used Spellbinders border dies to cut both the main panel and the front of the card base. Added stitching round the straight edges. The bee's wings are holographic card.

LOVE your scallop die-cut edging, but, oh, that stitching is divine. Gorgeous coloring! Your cards are always so interesting with all your detailed techniques and elements added!

I agree with Carlene..your details are always fantastic! Great image but the embossed bg and stitching caught my eye immediately. She'll love this! I do ;)
