It's Christmas in July, and I have the honor to be your hostess this week. The color palette for this week is Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana and Silver. The dessert option each week in July is "Christmas in July."
For these non-traditional Christmas colors, I decided on a Season's Greetings-type of card. I think the cool turquoise, silver and white give the combo a wintry feel.
I ran a white layer through my machine with the Subtle embossing folder to give the background a little texture. Mounted this layer on a base card of Polished Pink. I stamped and die cut the blossoms and tall sprigs and greeting, also cut the silver foliage and the Coastal Cabana leaves. I embellished the leaves with a few touches of colored pencil to give them a little detail.
Then it was simply a matter of arranging everything. I came up with three different possibilities, and took a picture of each one. Then it was easy to flip through the three photos and pick the arrangement I liked best. A white bow and some silver sequins finish off my card.
Thanks for taking a peek. It's never too early to get started on Christmas cards for 2021, so please join us and share your creations in the gallery!

I always love the idea of Christmas roses and your beautiful card takes them to a new level! The sequins and polka dot ribbon embellish the crisp silvery vibe wonderfully.

this is so pretty Barbara- I like the stamp set you used- the images have a watercolor look to them - great idea to add some veins to the leaves with a colored pencil
