Today's TLC challenge is to make a brick wall - not using an embossing folder or stencil. Good thing I saw it last night or I might still be making this card! I love the effect, just know that it is a bit time consuming - at least for me.
I chose some dp that had brick color tones to it and stamped the poinsettias onto it and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I colored the image with Copic markers. I was surprised with how good the green leaves looked on that dp.
Once the image was ready, I cut it into 1/2" strips and then cut those strips into 1" pieces - though every other row started with a 1/2" piece. Next came sponging the edges of each of these little bricks. Once done with that, it was time to glue each brick onto the Gray Granite panel. I really like how it looks.
To complete the card, I added the season's greetings ribbon to the bottom of the panel and then added the panel to a Reeal Red card base.
Thanks for the challenge, Sabrina, and thanks for looking!

That is beautiful. The poinsettias are so pretty on the DP, and the colouring turned out so well. I think that the last time I did this on DP I went for a small floral image that I just stamped with markers. I have a big poinsettia image out to use, and might follow your example.

The poinsettias look great on that paper. I wouldn't have thought to use such a large and colourful image on a brick wall but you have made it look amazing.
