This is for FS752 and Rae aka RaeBobcat is our featured artist this week. Congratulations Rae. Welcome back to uploading your lovely work in your gallery. After browsing I finally came back to page one and chose your 3 Trees card. I kept your Christmas holiday theme and palm trees. I changed the card layout and created a beach scene with strings of light on my palm tree fronds. I cut the trees using watercolor paper and water colored them using reinkers. The sand was cut using watercolor paper and I applied the ink using a wet baby wipe. I added touches of white embossing paste to the water background and sprinkled it with clear glitter. I know this is a total departure from Rae's elegant holiday card but couldn't resist making a palm Christmas tree!

How wonderful, Kittie! Christmas at the beach..perfect for those who live in tropical areas. Love the lights strung on the palm trees.I'm thinking about the 4 palms we had in our front yard when I was growing up..they were about 40-50 tall..don't think we could have put lights on them, lol.

Both cards are wonderful, Kittie - my grandparents had citrus and palm trees in their yard that were decorated each Christmas. Sure brings back good memories!

The three trees caught my eye too! Your interpretation is, as usual, fab, mf!

Wow! Kittie! I almost didn't 'recognize' you in this card with all these deep rich colours and no flowers! lol! But the attention to detail is the same - those lights are amazing!
