Free 4 All Challenge hosted by Jeanne - Red White & Blue
This is a different version of a card that I made last year. It is not necessarily patriotic, although I do love the red, white & blue look, especially this time of year. I stamped the silhouette image in Brilliant Blue, die-cut into a square and die-cut a red scallop mat. I used a strip of polka-dot DSP on the side.
The blue star is a homemade paper button. I punched a star from a different pattern from the same Brilliant Blue DSP pack. I was able to line up little white dots in the pattern to look like button holes. Then I covered the star with glossy accents and let dry. Added two red enamel shapes alongside.
The sentiment is tiny; it reads "Sending thankful thoughts". This card is now on its way to my MIL to express our thankful thoughts that she wants to come visit us in August. We appreciate her making the trip. Thanks for the inspiration! TFL

It sure does remind one of a Patriotic look! Not only the colors but the USPS mailbox symbol. Awesome stamped silhouette, die-cut, design, and papers used.
