Today Lisa has challenged us to use water on our cards in some way. I was inspired to go watch Dina's video on Watercolor Powders. I finally broke down and bought them about a year and a half ago, but haven't really figured out how to work them yet. Now I have lots of ideas, but this stencil technique always fascinated me. I was sure I was going to make a big mess with water seeping under my stencil, but I didn't! I think both prints came out awesome and I can't decide which one I like better. Maybe the one on the right. With my tropical jungle background done, I went looking for a tropical jungle stamp and came up with these Lawn Fawn monkeys. Monkeys creep me out, so you don't see a lot of monkeys in my gallery. These guys are cute enough to get a pass.

Both are awesome but I think the one on the right is my fave. Love these Lawn Fawn monkeys and how you used them on these cards. They are SO adorable! Saving to my Pinterest board

These cards are both so cute!! Our grandson Tom used to be called "monkey boy", so I have monkey stamps! I'm sure you will find more uses for them. the bg's of the cards are wonderful, and I like the one on the right the best too.

These cards remind of that toy where there was a barrel full of monkeys, that you can connect the tail like this. These cards are so cute!!!

Wow! I love how the technique turned out! Both examples of the technique are beautiful to me and the monkeys are adorable! Your cards are so pretty and fun too!

I prefer the right one too, but I think they are both beautiful. Wait for a rainy day and spend time playing - I love my Brushos and there are so many things to do. And, if you use ribbon much, seam-binding is super for mopping up the leftovers . A delightful pair of cards.
