Another "fragment that remained". When I was making a new baby card last month, I inked the IO Knit background with my spectrum pad. Even after stamping the original, there was still a lot of ink on the stamp, so I misted it and stamped again for a looser, softer look. The TH flower stamps have been in my "use this soon" pile for several months; I stamped them on white card and coloured with Inktense pencils. The mason jar was stamped on vellum, then coloured part way up with blue from behind. I coloured narrow strips of paper with dark green to extend the stems. I cut a slit in the top of the jar, and enough flowers are tucked into that for it to look realistic, though in fact most of them are tucked right behind it. I'll add a note on the tag when I know what I'm using the card for. I cut a half doily from off-white for it to sit on, and added a few sequins in soft colours, and finished by matting the rainbow knit onto some blue Bazzill, left over from my Summer Sampler earlier today. Oh, the joy of a rainy day that's also a day off; I enjoyed getting inky today and moving a couple of items out of my "use it soon" box. I see the Bazzill layer is lifting slightly - consider that fixed.

What a cool bg the knit stamp makes -- especially in this soft, looser inking. Perfect bg for that lovely flower arrangement on that sweet doily. Beautiful card.
