WCW056 - No Van Gogh but . . .
Added to Favorite
xxxx

Photo Details
Poster: bubblestx4

 I did manage a "Starry Night" scene . . . .
Today's challenge is a quick and easy beginner moonscape with a by Lisa Whitehouse.
The only hand drawing is a simple crescent shape for the moon and the layered night sky blues really let the water do the work. I feel like I need a remedial "spatter" class - I just can't get the hang of those things - it took me longer to get some spatters on my painting than to do the actual moonscape . . .lol

I am still struggling with splatters too! But I would never have guessed you struggled because your splatters look fabulous! I really like how you placed your moon in the corner. The cut stamp die-cut looks great as framing! Beautiful card!

Great creation with the technique....love how you framed it with the blocking of colors. Splatters are unique to do, sometimes they do what you want and other times not so much. I even have had them splatter on my glasses...little too heavy of a hand. Like the shape of your moon. Terrific take on the video. TFS

Love your moon a bit "fatter" than mine. Your night sky looks fabulous with all the wonderful stars. Wonderful framing and love the drips and splatters. Can't tell you have any problem with splatters.

Your moonlit sky with the splatters looks great. I think splatters have a mind of their own!

Great looking card, Linda. Don't think you need ANY remedial classes.....your splatters are great! Like how you framed your moon panel too.

I would also like to attend the remedial splatter class. Your moon is beautiful! The colors came out awesome and so did your splatter. You also got great drips! I wasn't happy with the paper I used yesterday. I'm also noticing this brilliant trick to get the postage stamp die cut to fit behind your panel. Awesome! I will have to remember that...
