I get a call from my mom "Do you have a hose?" Huh? "I turned the water on and forgot to turn it off. I need to get some water out of the pool." Since it has been over 100 for a few days running, I wasn't sure this was a true emergency. But, Mom was worried and when I went next door to look I saw that her conventional pool was now a stunning infinity pool on all sides.
Well, I needed to finish my sketch challenge sample card, go get groceries on Senior Citizen discount day (Tuesday) and fix mom's pool "problem". I looked out my kitchen window and spied a couple of the neighborhood boys with bicycles stopping to swipe some fruit off my front yard Thundercloud Plum trees. (It's OK, weeks ago I gave them permission to eat as many as they want to keep the dropping fruit off the sidewalk.)
"Do you two know how to swim? Go home and get your trunks on. I need some cannonballs, quick." A few minutes later, me and Bert, my water loving 100 lb. black Lab, Jake and Donovan are whooping it up in Mom's pool. Cleared out a couple of inches lickety split.
Wet hair at the desk, this card is done. On my way to the grocery store. I'm loving summer.

I love your card but I love your story even more about how you accomplished all you needed to do today. Those boys probably thought it was super fun to see how much water they could splash out. The flamingos on your card would have had fun with you also.
