For the Inspiration Challenge, Kia sent us to the very interesting Pinterest page of Maryann Rizzo. I quickly found the colors and the trees of this image inspiring:
Laura (SrappyHappy) our Featured Stamper has a gallery filled to the brim with great cards! Thanks for the wonderful FS challenge Ardyth! Laura, this is your card that inspired me:
I changed the fold to a latch fold and used different images. I used different, but similar, colors. I stamped the Sheltering Tree image in Mossy Meadow and repeated stamping without re-inking. Using my blending brush, I added Lost Lagoon and Baja Breeze ink to those stamped panels, finishing up with the Itty Bitty Background stamp. The stamped panels were embossed with the texture folder. I die cut and adhered the tree limb and bird to the long panel. The sentiment was stamped and die cut and a Pretty Peacock stitched oval mat added.
Many thanks to Kia and Ardyth for the great challenges. Laura, congratulations on being chosen our Featured Stamper!

Great Father's Day card. Love the colors you chose. The added texture looks great and I love how you arranged the images on the different panels. A happy card for a happy occasion. Wonderful card.
