I hope everyone enjoys today's TLC-create a display frame. Jennifer McGuire posted the blog and video on Mother's Day so it's quite new, although I suspect there are similar techniques. She shows three ways to create this type of card; I chose the A2 size.
I thought the birdies from Elizabeth Craft were pretty cute and they were on clearance! I stamped them with the onyx black and colored them with the pencil. I used the extra images for the background of the front, also colored.
The inside is decorated with two of the birds, attached to acetate strips so they bob around a bit. I sprayed some wc with blue and green sprays for sky and grass.
My plan was to keep this pretty simple but it got a bit out of hand as I didn't really have a plan, just figured it out as I went. The fold itself is quite easy, just some scoring, nothing complicated. I hope you give it a try.

Just totally delightful. I like the way you decorated the bottom bit below the score-line and added the extra spray of foliage to it. I just saw the first few fallen cherries on the ground this morning when I walked down to the greengrocer before work.
