The Friday Free For All Challenge (F4A590 - Dog Days- 6/11/21) was to make a project with dog images or sayings, so I did both!
This card took way longer to assemble and complete than anticipated! It looks deceptively simple, but required lots of fiddling and futzing. The most challenging part about this card was diecutting the alphaâs for B-day in the correct place and then popping up the panel with foam tape and getting the insides of letters back in place on foam dots.
It might be hard to see from the photo, the big dog is tucked inside the aperture of die cut letters and the little dog is popped up as well..
I got the idea for this style of card from Michelle Ferguson. Hereâs a link to the card that inspired me:
I wanted a special envelope to go along with this card, so I used a paper pocket by Paper Accents that I found in my stash. Hereâs a link to the pocket:
This was a super fun challenge to get to participate in.
I was able to deliver this card to our friend last night, along with a plate of homemade Rice Krispie cookies. He was delighted with the card and also the treats!
Thanks for stopping by to look at my doggie card.
Have a dog-gone great day!

Everything about this card is perfection! I love the adorable images and the way you've split the dog on the letters. The colors are wonderful and I love the little pocket. Faved!
