Color Challenge hosted by Jeanne: Fresh Pink Olives with dessert of gems.
Rita aka Stamping Servant has a beautiful card in her gallery that uses this stamp. It is long retired, but I love tulips and hearts, so I had to find it. Patience paid off and I finally found the stamp on eBay. When it arrived, I quickly stamped it on the first white card I found, just to make sure it stamped well. I had the card on my pile to finish. The challenge colors seemed perfect for it. I colored the image with Blends markers.
Next, I cut out the image into a square. Then I had the idea to do a window card. I die-cut a scalloped square window from the card base and I cut a second scalloped square on a single panel. Next, I attached acetate to the back of the window and placed the second cut-out panel over the backside to hide all the glue. I glued the image square to the acetate and placed a second white square on the back side.
I have just a little Regal Rose DSP left and I thought it was a nice match to the Polished Pink. I was so glad to find a polka-dot piece big enough to go on the inside to be seen through the window. The Just for You sentiment is white embossed on Fresh Freesia and die-cut into a dotted banner. I have a small square ready to stamp or write on that will go on the polka-dot paper behind the tulip wreath. There's still room for a short message and signature. Finished with dessert by adding a few scattered In Color gems.
Thank you Rita for the inspiration to get this stamp.
Thank you Jeanne for the color combo.

Oh, what a beautiful wreath! I can see why you love this image. The simple details you've added like the polka dot paper and the scalloped opening make for a perfect setting for this little gem.
