This week's challenge we are going to watch this video.
She paints transparent flowers. It really is a great exercise to practice taking color away when watercoloring. Kept my card pretty simple. Followed her directions and used a # 6 for the petals and a #2 for the outlining. I chose to use a green for the stem and leaves. Hope you can join us this week and try this technique. This flower has some real pizzazz - and that 'shocking pink' - wow! This flower is both sheer and vibrant (which sounds a bit like a redundancy) but you have pulled it off beautifully. Amazing results in showing us that LESS really is more!
