Well lately I've been getting a lot of use out of the My Favorite Things Craft Kit that I've been holding onto since July 2018. Hee, hee! I've made it my mission this summer to work through my 2018 stash of card kits. I have quite a few. I have no idea why I held onto them instead of using them because they really are lovely!
I stenciled the cloud background, then stamped and colored the tree branches. Die-cut and paper pieced the birdhouses and birds. The birds were popped up for a little dimension. Finished up by stamping the sentiment and adding some embellishments. This card is going in the mail today for my son and daughter-in-law who are closing on their new house in Massachusetts today. I completely understand your holding on to stuff and not using it and finally realizing that it needs to get used. This scene is so adorable and beautifully paper pieced together. Thank you so much for joining in the challenge this week.

I love a card that has birds, birdhouses, anything to do with birds. Love how you used patterns for the bird wings. Wonderful clouds and just the cutest card for your son and dil. Congrats to them on their new house.
