Chris is hosting this weekâs color challenge and the colors she chose are Cinnamon Cider, Misty Moonlight, and Evening Evergreen. These colors are perfect for a masculine card.
My card was made using a pop-out nested diamond cling stamp. I popped out the individual pieces so that I could stamp the background in multiple colors. The inks that I used closely match the challenge colors. Once the background was done, I die cut a rectangle out of it, flipped the panel over and adhered craft foam to the back to build dimension. I then adhered it onto an A2 card base. The sentiment will go where the rectangle was cut.
Since âmasculineâ is this weekâs dessert option, I decided to make a Fatherâs Day card. Since I didnât have a sentiment stamp of my own that would fit Into a vertical rectangle, I searched the web and found one. I easily slipped it into the space that was cut out.
Thanks for taking a look.

This card is really cute (probably not the right word for a guy card) and the background is so cool and clever. Perfect showcase for the challenge colors.

Marianne the stamp you used to create the background is phenomenal. Great idea for using it to fulfill this week's color challenge, absolutely perfect! TFS
