The image is colored with gel pens, some with glitter. I colored the background of each tile with light blue watercolor wash and then coated each tile with Crystal Glaze. Not sure if the photo shows the glitter or the glaze. I played with a variety of layouts before deciding to let the image dominate the card.

Oh, a tiled peacock! My mother used to have a sort of tray that was a peacock - and three tiles. And a bit cracked, LOL, like the crazing in your image. Super image and great colouring. I've usually seen them on the ground, but once in Paris we saw several in trees with their tails trailing down like this.
