My card is a diorama. It has an ere of mystery which only the recipient will see. I've photographed the card so that there will be things to discover! Just like the Sylvia, you have to dive in...the waters fine! Well, maybe not exactly...pack your wet suit. And cozy loungewear.
My favorite author is forever changing...hence the stack of old leather bound books. Right now I am rereading Hemingways 'The Old Man and the Sea'. I just might stroll along the beach with my parasol to protect my skin. I've placed interesting scenes inside the diorama both front and back of the panels. It was fun to be an interior designer.
Check out the library floor. I can just imagine a get together with fellow TeaPotter's. We would read, laugh, sing, dine, and 'bask in the for reals' of our friendships. Can't we just step into a time machine and suspend moments for awhile.
See you there...

What a wonderful card and tribute to that amazing hotel! I've just spent half an hour looking through their rooms and salivating over that beach. I love the glimpse of the interior I can see through the netting on your card. Though maybe it is the mystery of the interior?

I wish I could write a book about the gloriousness of your talent and Sylvia Beach creation, Susan, but I am almost speechless at how you amazingly express your art. You are the master of quotes and stories at SCS so your challenge theme is so fitting. My friend Bonnie, works at The Tables of Contents, the restaurant at this hotel. Though not a stamper, she is a card maker, and for 2 years I have been passing along the tea party challenges to her so she can join the party. This will blow her mind!!
Don't hold me to it, but I bet she could help get us a fantastic group discount booking a SCS retreat here. I'll take the Jules Verne room.

Well, I've tried to peek around the corners and through the netting here, but will have to wait to see what mysteries are yet to be revealed in this card. I think the fact that you created a whole room is just awesome!
