I forgot to buy scratch paper so I had to make my own. Now I'm glad I did, because I experimented with some things that I wouldn't have if it had already been done for me. I think I got too much soap in the paint, so a LOT of the black came off as soon as I started with the baby wipe. I loved the colorful mess that it was, so made a card anyway.
I also used alcohol inks on Tyvek paper for the butterfly. It was to be for a wreath outdoors (the reason for using Tyvek). It is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Ink.

Ah now, that's interesting. I looked up online, because "a little liquid soap" wasn't specific enough for me. And I found proportions ranging from 1/4 or 1/3 soap - more than a little in my book! I went for the smaller proportion, and I too found a lot of it pulled away on my ef even after drying overnight. But DH found it was great for touching up an old pair of shoes, and the piece that I tried scratching rather than embossing scratched absolutely beautifully. I did wonder if the sticking to the ef was related to the soap, which I hadn't used at all when I tried this sort of thing several years back. I just love the look of this, though. It really reminds me of the pretty floral sprigged prints my mother used to make our special dresses from when we were little. Gotta love Tyvek, too!!

just a little drop of liquid is enough, and mine didn't stick in the EF and the paint lifted easily, I think it depends also on what kind of paint we use, I love this artsy look!!

Love the bright colors. It's nice when the paint comes off easily. Thanks for sharing the soap tip.
