For the Inspiration Challenge (IC803), we're headed to Shop Sweet Lulu. They had quite a few things that caught my eye, but I kept coming back to THIS card. The hot pink hair & star shaped sunglasses really captured my attention.
For my card, I stamped, colored & die cut the Nala image, I die cut some stars for her sunglasses using gold & white glitter card. I had to practice that hot pink hair a couple of times on scrap to get the look I wanted. I popped up just a bit on a rounded corner rectangle & added a turquoise mat. It took me a while to figure out what to do about a bg to tie all the colors together. Then I found a piece I made a while back by spraying the inside of an embossing folder then running it thru the machine. It had the colors & kind of retro rock feel to it. After I put it all together, I added some stickles to the raised white lines on the bg. The greeting is part stamped, part die cut.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ Copic colors & links: The Write Stuff
