This is my 1st sample for CC840. Chris is our hostess and she chose flirty flamingo, petal pink and coastal cabana for her color trio. Dessert option this week is stitches. I used the MFT stitched basic edges die on this card. I also subbed powder pink since I don't own the petal pink color.
For both my cards this week I used a new to me wreath stamp set from Concord & 9th. It's one of their turnabout stamps. My teamie Barbara has used them on several occasions so I bought a couple to try them. I am hooked and I may get a few more.
I need several Mother's Day cards since I send to friends and family.
I stamped the wreath in the challenge colors and then added mossy meadow as my 4th color on this image. You turn it 4 times and add a different color on each turn.
I stamped my Mother's Day sentiment on vellum and embossed with an emerald embossing powder. It looks black in this photo but irl it's a pretty shade of green that matches well with the colors.
I finished off this card by adding coastal cabana ribbon and bow and scattering some flirty flamingo enamel dots.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Chris has chosen some great Spring colors for your cardmaking.

Ah, so I finally got you hooked on Turnabout stamps! Well, tit for tat, I bought some Cottage Cutz dies! This Mother's Day card is lovely, Mary! The wreath is bursting with this week's challenge colors, plus the softness of the vellum and the ribbon really make it perfect for Mother's Day!

Mary your Mother's Day bouquet is beautiful! Very nice touch with the rounded stitched bottom and leaving the top straight, great idea! Love the vellum and ribbon too! Very pretty design!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! I just love the motion of this wreath of wild flowers. It's organic and very interesting. You are so smart not to cover it up with a sentiment panel, choosing instead to use vellum. And the bottom curve of the panel is just the right touch.

That is a very lovely floral wreath, Mary. Looks great in the challenge colors. The use of vellum for the sentiment was a splendid design choice. It lets the wreath shine.
