We took a little trip down to Maryland to visit my nephew this weekend, so I haven't made a card since Thursday. I had a lot of fun, but I missed you guys and my craft room. This morning I combined the two challenges to make a Slimline April Showers card. I took a cue from Lyn's TLC sample and also used a tall digi for my slimline. This Stamper's Delights digi is the April image in the Facebook group Progressive challenge. I got her free for participating in the March challenge. Printing her out tall enough to fit a slimline card made her more fun to color. To add the April Showers, I inked up my raindrops background with Tumbled Glass, spritzed with water, and stamped above the umbrella. Then I added a doodled gel pen border and put it on a slimline card base.

your girl looks so much like the sailor moon manga character that my daughter loved when she was little! i really like the slimline card size and great colouring!

Oh my goodness my niece and nephew would love this image! They really love this style of art and even named both of their girls from some of the characters from a show they watch. Great image and coloring and card Jen.
