This card was made for a sketch challenge that had the optional challenge of including flowers.
When I saw the sketch included a triangle at the bottom of the left vertical panel, I had to scratch my head for a minute to think what would fit there. Then it dawned on me that I had a free SVG cut file from DreamingTree (https://3dsvg.com/) that had a gorgeous lady's high heel as part of it. So I loaded it into Brother's Canvas Workspace software and sized it down from 4-1/2" tall to 2" to fit my card. It cuts as three layers - black heel, green vine, and pink flowers. I cut it out with my Brother ScanNCut digital cutting machine and assembled.
Then since the optional theme was "flowers", I turned to my Stampin' Up! (SU) 12" paper pack titled "Magnolia Lane" to find to complementary floral patterns. I chose one where the flowers were crowded together with hardly any background showing and cut a strip 1" wide. I cut a mat from green paper that was 1/4" wider than the strip of floral paper. The other strip was cut from paper that had a black background. This one I matted with black cardstock.
The required horizontal stripe element was cut from a pattern in the same pattern paper set.
I assembled the card, and mounted the high heel using foam mounting strips to give more dimension to an otherwise flat card front.
I am rating the difficulty level of this card as a "2" out of a possible "5". I was really pleased how easily the three-level heel came together! Thank you, Dreaming Tree!
