For Polly's How Many Carats? MIXed media challenge.
I started by pulling out my favourite diamond stencil, spreading modelling paste through it and then sprinkling with mostly turquoise Brusho, a hint of red and leaf green, and some gold powder.
When dry, I trimmed the bottom and added a scalloped border that was on my desk along the top for definition. I was going for a jewellery look - (and ended up with something just as hard to photograph) - the foliage is cut from my tomato paste tubes, and the little "crystal" flowers are holographic card layered onto black, with Nuvo Drops for the centres. I also added black and white Nuvo Drops into the centres of some of the diamonds. Added a sentiment cut from glitter card and called it done.

Oh, wow! This is fabulous, Sabrina! I had to enlarge my screen to get a better look at those beautiful little holographic flowers - as tiny as they are, they really show up! A fav for sure.

Love all of these gorgeous colors and reflecting flowers. The cutting of the bottom of the card is really a wonderful way to really highlight those diamonds.

What you do with tomato tubes is just remarkable.
Hmm...I never heard of using brushos like that. New idea for me!
You know I zeroed in on the holo flowers LOL. Once a sparkle junkie...
