I had my torn paper panel all ready to go, just needed to do the stamping, embossing, stenciling, whatever I wanted to do. I made an ordeal out of it, almost thought I truly created pure junk out of it. I put on some butterflies, flora, three different eps, still wasn't quite right so I tried stenciling with the glitter paint. Oh my, that was a mess; I scraped off the glitter as best I could but of course, there was still a ton of it. I tried not to freak out so went ahead and cut the oval. Hey, not too bad. I did one more step, silver embossing the same stamp that is on the cardfront in the lime ep. You can barely see it but I know it's there and I'm finally 'seren' about my 'dipity'. I've done this technique before and I've always enjoyed it. Tried to do too much this time I think. Live and learn.

I think it looks beautiful, Jean. The texture and shimmer in it are fab. And I really do think it's hard to do too much, so long as you cut it down. For me that's when it always stops looking like a total mess. What a brilliant sentiment.

I agree with the others, this is really striking. All the "mess" turned into a beautiful effect when cut down : ) And I also agree about that great sentiment.

It is so hard to know when to stop when creating. We all struggle with this. In the end you have a great design and I love those Queen Ann's lace peeking out from the textured panel.

Isn't it fun to try this and that, and end up where you never thought you'd go!! Lovely, mf!!

Wow! I actually love every detail here! The scale of each element contributes it’s part to tell your story. The serendipitous panel has that air of mystery...what do I really want to be? All those seeds fighting for germination rights. Can you image the kicking and elbowing for space...and up comes the elegant Queen Anne’s Lace! It’s just a bonus this grew toward the CAS today. Uber kool! Is the fav button working???? Fav’ed 4 sure.
