For Karen's sanded embossing challenge. I had embossed this piece from a long time ago and had put some kind of taupe colored, scented paste on it along with the turquoise and green dox's. I really did not care for the scent and have been airing this piece out for well over a year. I sanded it but still did nothing for me, until I swiped wilted violet dox across some of the areas. Then I thought it could be made into something. This may be a stretch for the challenge, but was fun to play around with it.

Great artsy design ..... I really like the look of the wilted violet dox you swiped across your creation! Your sweet little sentiment note is adorable and very fitting with your embossed design. Love it!

I totally agree with Sharon..."your persistence paid off!" Your background end result is stunning...I so love the color combinations and embossing, making a stand-alone piece of art that needs very little to make it into this stunning card! So love that bitty tag and twine bow!
