I started with a piece from my stash (Lift the Paint Technique)--painted with acrylic paints with a stenciled diamond pattern on it, (it already had some roughed up spots...) The diamond stencil pattern made me think of my Argyle embossing folder. So I ran it through the EF and sanded the tops off the embossing to let the white show through. The argyle pattern made me think of argyle socks and the old men who wear them, so I pulled out this old geezer. Of course, this sentiment had to follow. It's really a punch-line, but it worked on this ATC card without the prequel.
Note: I really love this old geezer--he reminds me of my wonderful 91-year-old father-in-law! And I dressed him like my mother-in-law dresses my father-in-law... I also really loved the colors in this little painted sample, so I was happy to dress it up and keep it forever in my technique album. I'm imagining my little geezer is wearing socks like the BG on this ATC.
This Artist Trading Card is for my ATC Technique Album.

This is such a fun card. The argyle looks fab!
