I'm not sure what occasion I will send this card so I've left off the sentiment for now.
The card base is Lavender Moon (a pale lilac color) the card panel is black, trimmed so that there will be a lavender border on the left and right sides. The black panel was die cut with the SB's die and I used both the positive and negative cuts. Behind the die's open space I adhered a very, very old piece of background that I created. It's so old I don't remember the technique only that it was created on glossy card stock. I just loved it so much I couldn't throw the small piece away! I then placed the positive die cut back in the frame. The flowers and string were die cut. I colored the flowers in my MISTI using inks, pastel chalks and Copics. The flowers were arranged as seen and glued into place.
Thanks so much for looking!

I am always drawn to a black background, and your pops of color and framing pattern is as pleasing as your lovely floral centerpiece. It could truly be for ANY occasion!

This is so gorgeous, Cindy. Your choice of colors for the flowers/foliage is stunning against the black bg. Love the colors peeking through the die cut design framing the florals too.

Really striking card, the spring flowers look so fresh and pretty on the dramatic black background with just a hint of your background panel peeking through - love it!

I love the way the colors look against the black and that you kept so much black space. Such a beautiful and striking card. I've pinned this beauty so I can CASE it sometime. Gorgeous.
