I decided to art journal where my wrinkles come from (other than the obvious age, sun, unhealthy choices, genetics).
Also for **Art*Journal*Journey* single flower challenge. If It wasn't for the single flower limit, I would have filled this page with them and overshadowed the true point.

PS - I have way more happy things in my life than bad - I have been very lucky in life! Great husband, great kids, great grandkids, great parents, great Sisters and SIL, great friends (including all of you), God and His promises, much comfort, and art! I have been blessed - I just have had a few wrinkles along the way.

I am So Sorry for all that you've had to endure in your short life, Nancy. This brought me to tears, but as hard as it was to read, I applaud you for being able to conquer, persevere and talk about your life struggles because this is when the healing can begin. Beautiful lady with all her wrinkles...she is definitely a fighter! Hugs~

Wrinkles ... our life stories! When I worked I used to think of a face-lift, but darn, I'm proud of my wrinkles. They mean I've lived, loved, conquered adversity, and stayed true to myself. I think they are a badge of honor! Love this. HUGZ~

Nancy, your card took my breath away...thank you for sharing not just your incredible talent, but your personal history. You always send hugz to all of us...wish I could give you one in person! We should all do something like this to memorialize what has brought us to today.

Reading all your badges of courage made me admire you even more, Nancy! You are a warrior, and to share this with us is a gift! Love the various textures - all the 'wrinkles' and silver hair...

Nancy, I sincerely hope that you have multitudes of "good things" to outweigh all these unhappy events in your life. Take heart, everyone(who admits it) has a life filled with highs and lows. If it was all even, you'd never appreciate the exhilaration up the "ups". Thanks for sharing this very personal depiction.

My first thought after reading the history of your wrinkles was - so much tragedy. Then I read your PS and thought - so smart to remember all that is good and not let your wrinkle history steal your happiness. Beautiful and thought provoking!

What an inspiring work of art this is Nancy ..... you've shared your heart and your life experiences in a beautiful way. After studying your art journal page, I will look at my wrinkles in a different light. What courage and tenacity you have - and I love that you have also listed all the many blessings you've enjoyed along your journey!
