Our challenge today is to add glitter.
I die cut the back of the butterfly out of white glitter paper and white cardstock and glued them together. Die cut 2 of the top pieces of the butterfly. I held one of the tops over the base, using it as a stencil and colored the open spaces. Threw that top away (it had ink on it). Die cut and glued the antenna and colored with blue. Took the clean top and glued over the colored glitter base. Die cut a white scalloped mat, dry embossed a circle using a die and stamped the sentiment. Glued a scrap of glitter paper onto white cardstock colored with pens and punched three dots. Assembled all the pieces onto a white base.

This is a beautiful butterfly. Thanks for explaining what you did. I wanted to use a butterfly too but couldn't figure out what to do. I will remember this!

Your glittered butterfly is exquisite...especially with the lovely colors you have chosen, PJ. The debossed circle frame is lovely, as is the scalloped trim on the panel. Sweet sentiment too.
