For Ann's Alpha T for technique challenge. I crinkled up pieces of saran wrap and dabbed on spring pansy and hint of pesto and some cloud white on a 51/2x41/4 mixed media piece. You can see this technique here: Crinkled Chalk Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
Sponged delicata inks around the edges and adhered the piece to my eggplant base. Centered a stitched rectangle over the flower I wanted in the dp. Spied a bottle of purple stickles I had on my desk-there because my container of Stickles is full. So I think adding it was meant to be. Adhered a couple of pieces of white ribbon tied with twine and adhered with a small glue dot. Tied a twine bow on the little tag and added a gem and randomly inked it with the pansy versamagic, adhered it with a large glue dot. I'm happy with how this turned out. ~thanks for looking~

I am absolutely LOVING this painted technique you used to frame the gorgeous hydrangea dp, imagine creating such beauty with plastic wrap--that just shows YOUR artistry!!! I love how you have matched the colors so well, and the colors are blended beautifully, I cannot think of a better or a more beautiful frame!
I am a huge lover of hydrangeas, and you have created a real masterpiece using the dp plus your own art, and the combination is truly wonderful!!!
Again, thank you for leaving that kind comment on my hand-stitched card, it means a lot to me.

Shirl this is a wow card, I love the colours of the bg and technique you used, beautiful flowers, my grandma grew that exact colour in her yard, they really stand out against the darker frame, I like the tag with twine and bow too. Gorgeous

Your Saran wrap technique looks beautiful .... love your idea to sponge the Delicata ink around the edges! Your dsp is simply gorgeous and I just love your sweet little sentiment tag and gem!

WOW, Shirl, this is so eye-catching...beautiful colors! Love your Crinkled Chalk BD....I'd say you've really found the essence of that technique and made it your own! Love your idea of using the dp as a print panel...great look with the stitching added and the ribbon tie with bitty tag! A delightful card!
