This was totally jump started by this pin found here inside the freepik pinterest boards. I recently picked up the newest MB lavender die the pair of lavender stems and I cut some out from watercolor paper and added some prima watercolors to them and while I was at it I decided to cut a few of
the older ones to have on hand and I had these just laying around waiting for an idea so, I had to laugh when I seen that pin and it all just kind of fell together from there. the butterfly was cut from a previously colored sheet of mixed media paper scrap and the frame was cut from a piece of shades of green on some watercolor paper. I tend to make extras when I make messy backgrounds and I didn't jot what was used on those when they were made. The sentiment is up on foam pop dots over the scene. I did add some black sharpie pin to the stitching on the butterfly detail to mimic the black that is so bold on monarch butterflies.
