This card is for the Ways To Use It Challenge and also the Alpha challenge O = Ocean.
The BG was originally created using paints and a stencil and was sitting in my stash. I loved the colours which reminded me of the ocean as it was predominantly blue and greens.
I decided to use another stencil on top of the BG and with texture paste. I find that the stencil doesn't always come out that great with paste, so drew around it to give it more definition. Added paints and inks in various places to give more colour. In the photo it looks as though it's quite white with the paste but it's not IRL although knowing me I will probably add more colour later.
I wanted to keep this card simple and used a sentiment from a new stamp set. It was stamped 3 times using my Misti but still didn't come out clearly on top of the paints so I drew around it. Stickles added in places.
Come and play in the challenges.
TFL and happy day.

Almost autumn for you guys down there. Meteorologists like to say that March 1 is the first day of spring, as are June 1, September 1 and December 1 for their seasons. I kind of like that idea, especially for spring. Our snow is diminishing slowly, but we'll still get some, I'd be willing to bet. I love the dimension you achieved with your pastes and stencils. I wouldn't mess with it, I like it as is.
