I actually started off with this week's color challenge. I was tempted to use Art Gallery again, but I didn't want to stain my stamps - too chicken. But, I figured with this set I would definitely be using the purples and reds with these images anyways. And, the DSP is spot on with these colors, too. This is my first time using this set (waiting on my Strawberry Punch) and I have to say I like it more that I even expected to. It is very pretty IRL.
Adding this to the Free For All challenge, too. We are supposed to include something that makes us happy. I still remember making a blackberry (might have been black raspberries) pie for this first time from scratch. I had purchased a recipe book from a book fair at work and I got it just for the blackberry pie recipe. It did not disappoint!! I love it when recipes turn out as good or even better than you expect. And, to boot, my father-in-law went bonkers over it. I have fond memories of my mother-in-law sharing her harvest of black raspberries with us that she picked from their land, that we nicknamed "The Hill." I picked some on my own, too.

Love your story of 'the hill' and the black raspberries. Great memories like this are priceless! I love your card and never thought of not using the outline image of the berries! Great idea, they match the berries in the paper perfectly! This is a beautiful card! Thank you for participating in this week's challenge!

Ah, you cracked open the dsp pack, lol. Yay! Love this, Michele. Your ribbon treatment looks awesome! The blackberry and rich razzleberry go so well together. Faved! But then you probably knew I would, lol.
