I made this card for our Tickle a Teapotter challenge, "I Love Red." My favorite color! I wanted to see the gallery full of reds for the end of February, the month of love!
I used some velvet papers that I've had for a long time. I had to run my die through my machine 5 times to get everything cut on the large rose die. I glued it onto a white velvet paper and layered it onto red and black. I added my sentiment using a die that had holes for brads.
I hope you'll participate in this month's Teapot Challenge and you'll be thrilled when you receive a special card from another Teapotter!

so true, Gracie, about finding a special card in your post box! This card certainly leads off our TeaPotter Swap gallery! Your little spots of brown certainly temper all that red perfectly.

I love this card as well, even without the fancy fold...the red velvet is bright and vivid, and running it through your machine 5 times is well worth it, this looks gorgeous!

I have paper in colors of velvet and never use. A hoarder I can be with my paper. I can believe how many times it took to cut your paper but worth it in the end as made a neat card

Super-stylish. And like your other card, the texture must be fantastic. Some of those large dies are such a pain to cut, aren't they. I saw Linda Bubbles say the same about the one she used. But they're so beautiful that it's worth the effort. Thanks for a fun challenge - it's brightened a grey day looking through it just now.

Velvet papers sure made this die cut even more beautiful. I can imagine how awesome in real life. Love your color combo.
