Itâs my honor to host the Featured Stamper Challenge (FS733) so a big congrats to Dawn, the newest FS! She has such a fab gallery & after a lot of browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I kept the Easter theme w/ bunnies & eggs, but I used different images & dies, stamped bunnies instead of die cut & changed the layout a bit.
For my little Easter card, after stamping & die cutting the little bunnies, I stamped & colored in some grass for them to sit on, on the top panel. I die cut a lg oval out of it & attached it on top of a sponged bg w/ the Easter eggs stamped on top. Prismacolor pencils were used to add a little extra color, then I thought it looked too bright, so I covered it w/ a piece of vellum before attaching it under the oval. A stitched oval frame was added over the opening after the greeting strip was added but before the bunnies were attached.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ Copic colors & links: The Write Stuff

Such a fun card for Easter. Wonderful bright colors on the mostly white background makes such a great contrast of explosive fun! It is time to get going on those Easter cards. Dawn was a great choice and it was so hard to pick on to case because all of them were so darn cute.

So adorable and fun, Julie. Those Easter bunnies are sooo cute, and that velum covered Easter egg is a great idea. So well done! Hugz

The addition of the vellum is fabulous, Julie. I love the layout and your wonderful coloring.

This is just the sweetest, Julie! Love the bunnies and that one on the E of the sentiment is so fun! Covering the oval with the vellum let the ones in the foreground take center stage!
