My hostess partner, Karen, is honoring us with her warm and bright color choices for this week's color challenge (CC831). I don't know about your neck of the woods but mine is in desperate need of some warmth and cheer! Karen's selection of Flirty Flamingo, Pear Pizzazz, and Mango Melody, (with the dessert option of using a stitched die) was the perfect color combo for my imagination escape to the tropics! Unfortunately, I got a little carried away and didn't know when to stop, I just kept adding more and more, maybe it was due to brain freeze from the sub-degree weather we're having here in Kansas? I don't know what the reason but I do know... 'you' need to join us in the fun! We the team would love to see your take on this week's challenge!

I know what you mean about not knowing when to stop, LeAnn! I had the same experience this week with my art journal page. But I think you hit the sweet spot with your flamingo card. Love all the flowers and the black really sets it off beautifully!

Your flirty flamingos are delightful chatting by the pretty floral display - and how I’d like to see some real ones! Your weather made the BBC news here in England... brrrr!

What a fun twist the black adds to this color combination. The contrast with the challenge colors really does bring out the tropical feel of this gorgeous card. The flamingos are da bomb!
